Combitec TR inline Alcohol,Ethanol, original gravity content sensor

Description

COMBITEC combines the functionalities of two instruments, RHOTEC (density measurement) and SONATEC (sound velocity measurement). This instrument is specifically designed to deliver maximum sensitivity and exceptional accuracy, catering to applications that demand precise measurements. Operating the COMBITEC is straightforward, and it requires no maintenance efforts.
For density measurement, the liquid passes through a slender U-shaped tube located within the sensor. Electromagnets excite the tube, causing it to oscillate at its resonant frequency. Concurrently, an integrated reference oscillator records the oscillation characteristics. The smallest variations in fluid density are accurately detected and precisely identified based on the acquired signal.
Sound velocity measurement involves the creation of a sound pulse by a piezo-element in a sonic transmitter. This pulse moves perpendicularly to the flow of the substance and reaches a sonic receiver, where it is detected. By measuring the travel time of the sonic signal, the sound velocity is easily calculated, as the distance between the transmitter and receiver is known. Each liquid possesses a distinct correlation between concentration and density or sound velocity, which can be described by a mathematical polynomial. Centec, with its extensive experience and laboratory resources, has acquired the knowledge of these polynomials for numerous products.

To ensure accurate measurements, any temperature variations in the signal are automatically compensated for by an internal Pt1000 sensor. COMBITEC provides the capability to display liquid density, sound velocity, and solution concentration in a variety of units.
