FlashPasto inline flash pasterization unit

Description

The flash pasteurization system is specifically designed to gently pasteurize the product, ensuring that its color, taste, and digestibility remain unaffected. To achieve optimal results, precise adjustments of pasteurization time, temperature, and pressure are necessary. These parameters depend on various factors such as the product type, packaging, and desired shelf life. The system incorporates highly accurate process control, ensuring consistent pasteurization quality even when the product flow varies directly in front of the filling machine. Energy efficiency is improved by employing a two-step heating process. In the first step, the product is heated in a heat recovery section where it flows counter to the hot, already pasteurized product. In the second step, the heating medium (e.g., hot water heated by steam) gently raises the product to the desired pasteurization temperature. When the flash pasteurization system is installed directly in front of the filler, it can compensate for variations in product quantity picked up by the filler. The unit can be cleaned in place (CIP) simultaneously with the main line or separately, ensuring hygienic operation.

Application

Flash pasteurization is a widely adopted and cost-effective method used in the brewery industry to eliminate harmful microorganisms in beer and beer-based mixed drinks. Its primary goal is to enhance the microbiological stability and extend the shelf life of the product.
